Storyline
A news reporter looks into who has been anonymously leaving large cash gifts on random doorsteps in New York. Factual errors about the appearance of the New York City skyline as seen from Sheep Meadow can be seen at 29 minutes into the film where the image is shown is a backwards or mirror image of the actual skyline, and again at the end of the film where the skyline has been modified with some buildings removed and others added. These errors are apparently the result of these scenes not actually being filmed in New York and the skyline being added by an artist after filming

The main character is certainly not the fourth generation Bengali immigrant to NY as suggested. Not sure if such a thing exists. The Hispanic woman in the first episode had a Middle Eastern accent. Please research or immigrant populations.
